Wayne Granger served in municipal law enforcement for 18 years, many of those years working in special assignments including Traffic, Patrol, Special Events, and SWAT Supervision and Command. While working in law enforcement, Wayne was entrusted with planning public safety aspects of major community events including the largest Memorial Day Parade in Colorado, multiple citywide July 4th fireworks displays, and numerous community-policing events requiring logistical planning and operations. In addition to these pre-planned events, Wayne excelled in managing large-scale emergency situations including high-risk SWAT operations and major accident and crime scenes. Wayne also has training and experience in emergency management techniques and practices.
Wayne’s expertise is in traffic control, project management, and public safety staffing. From developing police and traffic staffing plans for small charity events, to professional sports events, concerts, and music festivals, Wayne’s expertise and attention to detail are unmatched. Wayne’s traffic planning expertise has also been used to assist schools with improving their traffic and pedestrian safety. Wayne’s Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership- Strategic Innovation & Change and Project Management provides a level of professionalism and oversight not seen in many event companies. In addition, Wayne has Executive experience including Risk Management, Finance, Human Resources, Operations, Marketing, and Leadership serving as Executive Director for a 96-employee charter school.
